We got to celebrate Groundhog’s Day. We learned all about
groundhogs. We also talked about the tradition of Punxsutawney Phil being able
to predict the future weather. Each student made their own groundhog to put on our
graph. Will Phil see his shadow or not? Are we in for six more weeks of winter
or is spring coming soon?
Here are the results from our class:
9 students predict we will have six more weeks of winter.
14 students predict we will get an early spring.
Here are a few fun pictures of the groundhog puppets we made
at the end of class.
